School Day Hours

Regular School Day: 7:40 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.

Shortened Day/Early Release: 7:40 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Lunch will not be served.

Emergency Early Dismissal (Inclement Weather): 7:40 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served.

  • 1 Hour Delay: 8:40am – 2:15 p.m, Drop-off at 8:25
  • 2 Hour Delay: 9:40 a.m. – 2:15 p.m, Drop-off at 9:25
  • 3 Hour Delay: 10:40 a.m. – 2:15 p.m, Drop-off at 10:25

 

Beginning of the School Day

  • School begins at 7:40 
  • Drop off lines are open from 7:25-7:40
  • We encourage you to take advantage of the bus.  Buses arrive almost simultaneously, so students are ready for their day.
  • After 7:40, students must be signed in at the office with a parent/guardian.

 

End of the School Day 

  • The school day ends at 2:15. Buses will begin to load promptly at this time.
  • We encourage all students to ride the bus.
  • Pick-up loops are the same as drop off.  Please remain in your car-You will receive a paper with your child’s name and teacher - please place it on your passenger-side visor to support an efficient process.

 

 

  • Different grades have different schedules. Your child’s teacher will share the daily schedule with you during back to school night.  A typical day for your 3rd grade child may be:

    7:40 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Morning Work/Community Building 

    8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Math

    9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m Special (music, gym, art, library)

    10:00 – 10:30 a.m. Science/Social Studies

    10:30-11:00 a.m. World Language (occurs 3 days a week for 30 minutes)

    11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Knowledge Block

    12:00 p.m – 12:35 p.m. Lunch

    12:35 p.m. – 1:05 p.m. Recess

    1:05 p.m. – 2:05 p.m. All Block

    2:05 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.End of Day/ Pack-up/ Dismissal

  • Our 4th grade operates with a partner teacher, where one teacher teaches Humanities (Reading and Writing) and the other teaches STEM (Science/S.S, Math). Your child’s teacher will share the daily schedule with you during back to school night.  A typical day for your 4th grade child may be:

    7:40 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Morning Work/Community Building 

    8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Special (music, gym, art, library)

    9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m World Language (occurs 3 days a week for 30 minutes)

    9:30 – 10:00 a.m. Science/Social Studies

    10:00-11:00 a.m. Math

    11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Recess/Lunch

    12:00 p.m. – 12:10 p.m. Transition

    12:10 p.m. – 1:10 p.m. Reading

    1:10 p.m. – 2:05 p.m. Writing

    2:05 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.End of Day/ Pack-up/ Dismissal
