School Houses and Community
- Cider Mill School honors Wilton’s rich heritage by naming each of its academic houses after one of the town’s historic schoolhouses. These houses create smaller, student-centered learning communities that foster belonging, school spirit, and collaboration.
House Organization
- South House: Composed of Kent and Belden Hill houses.
- North House: Composed of Cannondale and Nod Hill houses.
- Flexible Learning: Students can move flexibly between the two houses within their assigned North or South team.
Core Values: The 3 Rs
Within each house, students and staff collaborate to build critical thinking skills, prepare for future success, and practice our fundamental values:
- Respectful: Honoring themselves, their peers, and their teachers.
- Responsible: Taking ownership of their actions and learning.
- Ready to Learn: Coming to school prepared and eager to engage every day.
